The firemen are always so awesome with kids when you walk up there, they let the kids see the trucks and let them inside of them. I love the "small town" feeling. Lake Alfred has always been older people (retirees) and in the past 5-10 years with the development of new homes we've seen more kids. I just wish the city could do more program for the children, we seriously lack in that department. "
