5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy experience at the Eugene A. Tighe School has been extremely positive. I feel fortunate that my children were able to have this educational experience in middle school. If I had to label the school, I would call it a "boutique" education. My children have excelled academically and socially.Parent Review5y ago - William H. Ross III Intermediate School

"my wife and i settled in Margate in 1977.... we have raised 2 children, now professionals, and we still love the bay life, the smell of the fresh air, the sound of the seagulls in the morning, the marvelous sunsets, the outdoor barbeques after an afternoon of boating, watching the magnificent starry nights along with the beautiful casino lights in Atlantic City and of course afternoon and midnights swims in our wonderful pool......"

"N Gladstone has potential for great neighbors, and is a short walk from the grocery store, liquor store, and Boca.. in the warmer weather taking a stroll to tomato’s, Maynard’s, or Lamberti’s is easily reached in under 30 mins. "

"Margate is very quiet in the off season, and absolutely 100% tourist town in the summers. So expect it be crowded, VERY CROWDED in the summers. The homes are extremely overpriced, this is not a place younger families are moving into due to the cost of living being so high. Rentals are very difficult. Unless you want a furnished winter rental, as most use their homes in the summer or rent it out for even more money, it is a safe quiet place to live. In the OFF season that is. Definitely a small town where everyone knows your business. If you are middle class do not expect your kids to fit in. It’s more for the rich and older people. "
