"Excellent. Almost everything I need to access on a daily basis is within a 5 to 10 minute drive. It’s also easy to get to key DMV areas within 10-20 minutes, including Georgetown, downtown DC, the White House, the national mall, McLean, Alexandria, DCA, Tyson’s Corner, the pentagon, Bethesda, MD… Commute is the best around "
  • Emily C.
"We have a huge number of children in the neighborhood and even more who come here just for the Halloween festivities every year. Several houses host full haunted houses and full streets are closed in celebration. We also do a costume party parade for little ones the Saturday morning beforehand. Other events include July 4th parties, super bowl get togethers, Christmas decoration contests and more. "
  • Emily C.
"Dogs are very popular here. The neighborhood is very walkable and 90% of roads have sidewalks for easy walks. Several parks in area too. "
  • Johnlugar
"Very dog friendly. We walk our dog every day and frequently encounter other neighbors walking their dogs. There’s a small dog park nearby. "
  • Alexandra H.
"Great parks. Fun eateries and a Starbucks 3 min away. Easy access to DC. Blasting metro is 1 mile away. Movies and the new Ballston mall for shopping close proximity. "
  • Uaremymuse
"Extremely safe and comfortable location for walks, dogs and grabbing a coffee at Starbucks or Pies just up the street. Lots of other shopping within walking distance. 20 min walk to Ballston Metro or a quick bus ride from across the street. Bus to Rosslyn 3-4 blocks to Lee Highway. "
  • Lauramdecaballero
"The generosity and kindness of everyone. How quickly someone steps in to lend a helping hand. Very happy and blessed to live in this area!"
  • Kenneth H.
"Have lived all over the DC metro area over the last thirty five years (and all over the world before that) and without a doubt this is the best place I've ever lived. The schools are world class (public and private), the crime rate is very low, neighbors are friendly and care about the community and there are tons of things to do in Arlington and three miles away in DC. For me, it's the perfect place to live."
  • Chevive
    "Awesome area, quiet, great neighbors"
