My son has adhd as well as possible other learning disabilities. I was continuously told to seek testing from my physician even though by law, the school is supposed to do testing when a parent requests it. The school principal does not support children with learning disabilities and made my son's life miserable. She continued to allow my son to be bullied and treated the students as if she were their drill sergeant. There was a huge lack of empathy. It was to a point that issues were happening and she would never ask my son his side of the story. Because I got a parent advocate, she started terrorizing my older son as well. I actually had a TEACHER reach out to me to let me know. Once I started learning my rights and got a parent advocate she had my son disenrolled due to "not being in the school district." One of the worst schools I've ever experienced and Kelly Ryan was the worst principal I've ever encountered as well. Do better scusd!

My student was in special education and recieved wonderful services from a great staff. The campus was very inviting when we transfered in and was til graduation last year. The admin is very supportive and the amount of school spirit is amazing among the students. Really glad we chose Kennedy.

I will say the support from this school, principal vice principal through the online portals of accountability is very high and they go out of their way to make sure your children succeed!! as well as the security of the school extinguishing fires before they become dangerous is to make a parent feel comfortable. All three of my children have been in the school over the years. And it’s also on the parents of your child success of how much involvement you have it’s teamwork between the school and parents and child.
