6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere are some great students, parents and staff members at this school, but the bad apples certainly spoil the bunch. The fifth grade teachers are unkind, bully and harass students, and attempt to do the same with parents. I know of multiple parents who have raised concerns with administration, and nothing has been done. It could be a lack of training, archaic ideals of education, or a disregard for human decency. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe new Administrators need to be replaced with very good experienced and customer oriented staff. You supposed lead by example, so it not surprising how rude the school personnel are because the Principal, Assistant Principals, Security Sargent and staff. They were supposed be engaging with the parents (only if you agree with them) and students. If you don’t agree with them then they don’t help the parents or students. If you don’t help make their job easy by agreeing with them you get no help and they strategically do everything in their power even use students to go after other students to create a false narrative to have the student forced out of the school. I know this review is falling on deaf ears because but it need to stated and hopefully something will be done for the better. Every child not perfect but before you condemn a student really understand a student perspective. The school is run like a clique, if you not apart of their sorority or fraternity then you will not be helped by the Principal and Assistant Principals and staffs. "I live in the neighborhood for 13 years and to get to grocery stores, movie theaters, restaurants all require transportation to get to them. Public transportation is an hour wait. But, the neighborhood is quiet. "

"This is the hidden jewel of the eastern end of the suburbs of DC. Easy access to DC, DC restaurants and nightlife. Although it is pricey in terms of taxes, you can't beat the fast commute into DC which would ultimately cost you in gas if you moved further out. Most folks living in the area are 35+ year old working professionals with families. "
