7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy 3 oldest kids have all attended Delano and my 4th will be starting kindergarten there this year. I love the school. The principal is outstanding. When I moved to Memphis, I was worried if my kids could get a reasonable public school education. Delano has put my fears to rest. I am very pleased with the education my kids have received. 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThey make all students leave right after the bell rings despite almost getting shot up multiple times at dismissal. The counselor and principal barely interact with any students. Teachers are rude and do not contact parents if students are misbehaving or failing. Teachers are so lazy they are failing students and losing students work then blaming the student. Teachers will not put grades in until the last and I mean the very last second. Maybe an hour or two before grades are official due. Do not send your kid to this school if they have any plans of having a good education as this school does not care about your students mental wellbeing, education, or anything else.
