7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe education here is horrible. Last year, our class had to be taught 2 digit by 2 digit multiplication in 6th grade! We also had to still learn our times table. I find this baffling of course, because in the prior year (primary school) I was in the Reach Program which was for advanced kids, and I got placed in a group that didn’t even know how to do basic math the next year. I also find it pretty preposterous that the syllabus for the advanced classes is nearly the same as the regular classes. What is the point if we learn the same material, no matter whether you’re a moron or work diligently day after day? It is also really tedious how we keep learning the same material for each grade. I’m also not sure if it’s just for varying teachers, but some of the classes provided little to no homework this year and last year, which was quite strange. Moving on from 6th grade though, the current semester is still horrible. Some of the teachers (will not name for personal and privacy reasons) keep babbling about their personal life instead of actually teaching us. They do this same routine for about 30 minutes; (mind you, we have 50 minutes for each class period.) They also aren’t willing to help most students, and I have seen some intolerant behavior from some of them! Such as swearing, racism, discrimination, etc. Oh and not to mention, sometimes we barely get any class assignments (sometimes for two weeks or more than that) and then we just sit in class doing nothing, possibly only able to chat with the companions at our table and whatnot. **This is in BOTH advanced and regular classes by the way.**There needs to be better education! 7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children have had an incredible experience in this school and are sad to be flying up to the middle school. It is an an amazing community that is supportive and helps children develop their minds and abilities, leaving them prepared to enter AP and honors programs.Parent Review6y ago - Check out schools near 175 Quincy Shore Dr #B71.

"Quincy varies - a lot - by neighborhood but ours has a nice residential streetcar suburb feel, with subway access, beach, restaurants all in walking distance. Now that our kid is in school it feels like we know everyone like a small town, but prior to that it felt more like any urban area."
- Alun W.

"Conveniently located within steps to North Quincy Train station, Walgreens, North Quincy High School, Elementary School, McDonalds, 7-Eleven, Restaurants, State Street Bank, Library, Post Office, Fire House, and SuperMarkets, etc... The neighborhood also offers easy access to Route 3, Route 3A, and Interstate-93 (I-93) and is less than 8 miles to the city of Boston."
