Our family has had an incredibly positive experience at Francis Scott Key Elementary, specifically within the Deaf Plus program. As a parent of a child with complex needs, finding the right educational setting is not easy — and this school has truly exceeded our hopes.The teachers and specialists are exceptional. They are skilled, patient, deeply knowledgeable, and most importantly, they genuinely care about their students. The level of collaboration between teachers, specialists, and related service providers creates a cohesive, supportive environment where students are understood and valued as whole individuals.The inclusive practices at the school are meaningful and thoughtfully implemented. Students have access to PE, music, and art electives, which allow them to explore their interests and feel fully part of the broader school community. Inclusion here is not just a concept — it’s something you can feel in the culture of the campus.The leadership team is engaged, communicative, and solution-oriented. The office staff is warm, welcoming, and always helpful. From the moment you walk onto campus, there is a strong sense of community and care.Most importantly, my son loves going to school. He lights up when he sees his teachers. That joy says everything.We are deeply grateful to be part of the Francis Scott Key community.
