Description

Creekfront cabin 2 beds 2 baths built late 1970's. Brand New carpet, vinyl flooring in bathrooms and the kitchen. One large master bath and bedroom at the back of the home, hall bedroom and hall bath is shower. Master bath is tub shower combo with large enough space for a wheel chair to enter if needed. Home has central heat and air and older heaters in the walls that seem to work well in living room. Cute home would make a great get a way for you & family. Very private place only a few people use that peasant run road I think only 3 or 4. They all have the right to use the road and volunteer road fees to repair once a year but a well built level road. Home is well maintained In upper level the unfinished basement needs some cleaning up owners coming to clean up and clean out this month.

    "vehicle is a must have commodity to get around when you live out of the town city limits. Unless you like to walk or ride a bike. They're are few other drawbacks as well. Communicating by cell phone is not very good around the countryside, lacking cell towers. This is a problem, even trying to get on the internet. Somedays are better than others but still we have poor reception. Other than that we have the beautiful outdoors. We can enjoy going to the national forest for hiking, camping, hunting, fishing or just driving around the back roads and enjoy scenery as well as wildlife. Living outside the city's limit might have it's drawbacks but you take the good and the bad as it comes and make the best of it."

    "Murphy, NC is a small community with all the basics (yes, including Walmart). There is a lot to do or you can relax and enjoy the beauty of the mountains. Winters are NOT harsh, however, you will need warm clothing. You can enjoy the wildlife from your back deck or walk the many trails throughout the county. Although Murphy will have a Casino come the Summer of 2015; it will have little impact on the quality of life."
