Welcome to the epitome of luxury living in the heart of TriBeCa. 152 Reade Street is a spectacular 25-foot-wide mansion that exudes elegance and sophistication. Originally designed by the pioneer of TriBeCa's modernization, John L. Petrarca of Guenther Petrarca, this truly unique residence has been completely redesigned and customized by Philip Koether Architects and holds historical significance as one of the first, and very few, single-family homes built in the area in over a century.
This magnificent seven-story home boasts five bedrooms, five full bathrooms, two half bathrooms, and four separate outdoor spaces, all meticulously designed to provide the utmost comfort and luxury. The residence features soaring ceiling heights, a private elevator, an Italian marble and iron spiral staircase with a motion-activated lighting system, a Sonos audio system, a 100-gallon fish tank, a wood-burning fireplace, a temperature-controlled wine cellar, and custom closets and cabinetry throughout.
As you step into the grand foyer, you are greeted with 11-foot high ceilings, setting the tone for the rest of the home. The Bulthaup-designed chef's kitchen is a masterpiece, equipped with stainless steel appliances by Gaggenau, Sub-Zero, and Bosch, granite countertops, and custom cabinetry and storage. The main floor also features a foyer dressing room, powder room, and laundry room, all customized with the utmost attention to detail.
The second floor is where you will find the great room: a breathtaking space with jaw-dropping 24-foot ceilings and floor-to-ceiling dual-pane windows that flood the room with light. Relax by the marble wood-burning fireplace or set the mood with the ambient lighting system by Color Kinetics. Adjoining are the formal dining room and wet bar, as well as a secluded outdoor terrace that makes for a seamless indoor/outdoor entertaining transition. A secondary grand staircase in the back transports you quickly from the dining area to the kitchen.
The third floor features a guest bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and private outdoor balcony, a space that feels like you are in a boutique hotel room in Paris. The fourth floor is dedicated to the primary suite, complete with an ensuite bathroom with a deep soaking tub, a walk-in closet, and an oversized arched window with electronic blackout shades. The fifth floor has three additional bedrooms, while the sixth penthouse floor is an informal entertainment room and the first floor of the duplex rooftop terrace.
The bi-level rooftop terrace includes a built-out pergola, grill and prep station, and the top level features a large Jacuzzi sitting under views of One World Trade.
The cellar floor is a haven for entertainment, with a recreation room complete with a built-in bookcase and media system, a billiards table, and a 180-bottle wine fridge. A sound-proof music room, a vaulted temperature-controlled wine cellar, and multiple basement-level storage rooms provide ample space for all your needs.
Parking spot nearby available for purchase, inquire for more details.
Located in one of Manhattan's most vibrant and sought-after neighborhoods, TriBeCa is home to world-class restaurants, entertainment options, shops, schools, and famous landmarks that are synonymous with New York City.

"Dogs are welcomed everywhere there’s even a dog park not too far away. There’s also a few stores you can bring them in with you. Only bad thing is some people don’t pick up after their dogs and that’s gross. Oh and the dogs that meet on the street are usually pretty friendly with each other as well."

"Having lived elsewhere in Manhattan, I've fallen in love with Tribeca. It has everything I need, a great Whole foods to relieve me of my pay check and from what I have been told, an excellent elementary school. My condo is walking distance to work (FIDI) and is convenient to public transit. I live about 5 minutes from the esplanade along the Hudson...I just cross over at Murray and can go walk, sit in the park, or if I ever get up the nerve, play some basketball in all that green space and parks. Lots of restaurants, including 3 decent Irish pubs, also on Murray. It may not appeal to the younger, single folks but we do seem to have lots of young families in the area. NYC is a city of neighborhoods. Tribeca is a great one."

"I live here and work nearby. Agree with other reviewers that it is up and coming but not quite there. Its too quiet at night and the restaurant options, though fantastic are too slim! that being said, i love my building and how clean and safe the streets are. The opening of the Smyth Hotel and the W is encouraging."
