8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDieringer is a unique and wonderful district. The high level curriculum gives students a wonderful opportunity to learn and grow. The programs and activities are exceptional. Student participation in sports, music and the arts is the highest I have ever seen. Wonderful teachers, support staff and administration. The activities and opportunities that are presented to the students at North Tapps are incredible. Holiday sing along, JA Biz town field trip, 6th grade camp, Family Dodgeball night, Motivational speakers, Heritage night, Knowledge bowl, Drama productions, and a never ending list of clubs and sports. This year nearly half of the male student body went out for boys basketball, over 120 students. A record from any school that I have ever heard of. Girls soccer had 75 participate as well. Both sports won the championship for the division. Kids and families in this district are engaged and inclusive to everyone. Highly recommend!Parent Review2y ago12 Reviews - Dieringer Heights Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOf the three Dieringer district schools, this one has impressed me the most. With one child gifted, and another requiring an IEP, I couldn’t be happier with the attention to detail from all staff members to ensure my kids were as successful as possible while here. It’s obvious that staff members deeply care for the students.Parent Review2mo ago17 Reviews - Check out schools near 151st Ave E.

"As a dog owner myself I know the misfortune of having to live in an apartment when it comes to certain dog breeds. Because of this certain dogs get cooped up and of course with life’s insane demands there may not always be proper training/ dog socializing so certain dogs may be a little more aggressive than others. "For dog owners specifically, they shouldn’t run into a problem. I do take notice in the fact that a lot of neighbors own pit bulls and with that comes the violent stereotype of aggressive pit bulls. Maybe depending the size of the dog some people might want to steer clear of those with pit bulls and rather go to a dog park or something like that."

"Too many hills. Many stray/loose dogs that are aggressive. Personally have been attacked while walking my dog."

"Every Fourth of July people will go out in the street and light off fireworks. It’s a nice event that everyone participates in and usually people are pretty clean about it."

"I hear gunshots at least 3 out of 7 nights per week, sometimes more. I know there have been home invasions and drive by shootings very near to where I am. I would not raise a family here. "

"I see people walking their dogs in the area all the time. Sidewalks are well lit and maintained. only downside is the lack of trash cans for people to put the dog poop in."

"There is hardly any public transportation that makes it up to the reservation. There is one bus very early in the morning and the parking spaces at the train station always fill up, so just plan on driving your car everywhere."

"Lakeland Hills is a beautiful community. We’ve lived here for two years and have loved it! It feels very safe, great for walking, and our kids love the many parks around. Restaurants, gas, and a grocery store are conveniently close. In my opinion, it’s the best neighborhood in Auburn. "

"I've lived in many different parts of Auburn over the past 3 years. Over the years the local area gets worse and worse with homeless people and drug addicts everywhere. there are sirens blaring 24/7, it is not safe to leave packages at your door. my bbq was stolen off of my porch along with a bike and a small padio set. you can not leave your car unlocked for fear of will be raided and or stolen."

"Homelessness and filth abound. Property is trespassed regularly and theft is common. Upkeep of the area is pathetic. Drugs are prevalent. People are rude. Employees with certain institutions take after the vagrants of the street in their conduct and demeanor. Recommend residency elsewhere. "
