Room Description

This unit is great for a "solo" renter who needs long-term, mid-term, or short-term accommodations. We are very interested in offering a long-term renter a permanent, clean, comfortable, and affordable accommodation with a one-year renewable lease. We will also take a one-month short-term tenant or 3,6 month mid-term requests. One quiet cat may be considered with a pet security deposit, proof of health record, and basic rules. Dogs are not allowed in the Zen Den, but we have another unit on Airbnb, so please inquire.

The Zen Den Studio is 200', perfect for all solo professionals, college students, and healthcare workers, relocation, snowbird, digital nomad, retired single travelers, insurance situations, or if you are just waiting on your builder to finish your home, this is ideal.

This unit includes all that you need for your mid to long-term living. A mini kitchenette with a countertop and sink, a mini refrigerator, a microwave, and a coffee maker. A wall cabinet complete with plates/glasses/cups, and utensils. Storage drawers and a bar stool, along with a boucle sitting chair. You also have your own stackable washer/dryer. This unit is fully equipped for you to be able to heat and enjoy your meals, have a nice cuppa, do your laundry, and have a countertop that doubles as a workspace with plenty of USB charging areas and outlets. You will have a beautiful bathroom with a deep soaking tub and a rain shower to enjoy. Your unit is tastefully decorated to reflect the colors of the sea found on our beaches in Saint Augustine.

This unit is for "1" person to live comfortably. We have another side that is larger that rents on Airbnb that has a full kitchen and laundry, please inquire for a shorter term if you live with more than one person or have a dog.

Your property access has a completely separate entrance with smart lock access. The other unit may be rented on Airbnb or owner-occupied during your stay.

Welcome to the Retreat at Los Robles, located in the San Juline area of St. Augustine, nestled amongst brand new homes, the best choice for a peaceful stay on a quiet side street so close to everything within 5 minutes.

There is parking for one vehicle for each part of the home, and you may want to bring a bicycle to lock it outside around the back deck, as it is fun to go downtown and get around town.
The Zen Den tenant parks to the right of the driveway, and guests pull in behind your vehicle.

There is an outside front entrance deck with a gazebo that you may utilize for relaxation when any occupants are not renting the other unit of the home.

Check-in codes and Wi-Fi passwords are provided before check-in. Access via smart lock code. Your hosts want you to have a wonderful stay and have done everything to ensure that your comfort is a top priority.

Please note: This is a listing best suited for a "Solo" renter without any dogs ( this rental can't accommodate any service animals). Cat is okay on a case-by-case basis with fees and basic rules.
You will be required to do a background check via KeyCheck (the tenant applies and pays for online)
The cleaning fee of $150 is for a month's stay "solo"; for any other situation (cat)/longer stays, the cleaning fee is $300.

You will be required to sign a lease and pay a $500 non-refundable deposit that will apply to your 1st month's rent. If you do not wish to sign a lease and pay security, please inquire with us about our Airbnb option.

There are many restaurants and several grocery stores within 2 miles of the Retreat.

We are 4 minutes to TY the new University of Health Sciences if you're a student.

It only takes 10 minutes to ride a bicycle to the downtown historic district.

The beaches are a 10-minute drive.

St. Augustine, established in 1565, is the Nation's Oldest City. You can experience sun, beach, art, music, and dining under a few minutes' drive from your location.
If you want to bring a bicycle, you can lock it to the back deck or place it behind the shed and easily bike safely to everything Uber, Lyft, and local taxi cabs are also available for about $15 to downtown.

$1350 Refundable Security Deposit applies.

Cleaning fee: $150 if staying one month "solo", $300 for all other scenarios, including any pet staying with you.

Zen Den Studio rental: long-term, mid-term, or short-term. An application is required with references and proof of employment or eligible funds if not working.
A background check paid for by the tenant is required.
A signed lease is required, and a $500 nonrefundable deposit is required at lease signing and is credited to the 1st month's rent.
If you don't want to sign a lease, please reach out via the Airbnb method for a quote. Airbnb fees are involved if you don't sign a lease.

A one-time $150 cleaning fee applies to stays of 1 month or less, $300 cleaning fee if over a 30-days or if you bring a cat.

For our house rental, a minimum of 3 months up to 6 months.

No dogs are allowed (including ESA) in the Zen Den Rental. A small dog would be possibly considered in the Namaste Airbnb rental or the whole house rental and only with a 3-month minimum rental, with an additional pet rent/ security deposit per animal.

No smoking, no drugs. That includes no vaping in the home. You can smoke outside away from the building (not on deck) as long as you clean up any cigarettes.

If requesting to rent the entire home (*inquire for a price quote):
We require first, last, and security, and a one-time cleaning fee of $300 to move into the house rental with a minimum of 3 months rental/pets charged/ discussed additional fees.

Please note: On all approvals, Zen Den or entire home requests, we will require a $500 non-refundable deposit that is applied to your first month's rent at the time of accepting/signing a lease.

We are also on Airbnb if you prefer that method for booking (Airbnb fees apply). You can request your dates by the month via a message on Airbnb.
