"I drive. It’s about 20-25 mins to downtown. Can feel hard to get around, but that’s Florida I guess. You have to have a car unfortunately."

"My neighborhood is a friendly beach community. Most people are retired, yet not everyone is. I would guess around 75% are, plus there are many who rent, mainly in the winter months"

"The oldest city needs no Explanation. But at the beach, I have the benefit of the old city and the ocean and the intercoastal waterway. That is very unique."

"Love the atmosphere at Ocean Village Club. Plenty to do. Either visiting the old historical areas of St. Augustine or just lolling on the beach. What a terrific place to live and work."

  • Don D.
    Butler Beach, Saint Augustine
"We live here for part of the year and will be moving here full time in the next 2 years. The area is well maintained by property owners. Walkability to restaurants, shopping and entertainment is the best we have found. We seldom need to leave the island for anything and when we do, we seldom have to drive more than 5-6 miles."
