About this House

1890's Victorian charm meets modern day comfort in this spacious 1150 sq ft, 3 bedroom, 2 full bath flat. Enjoy everything the Bay Area has to offer from your private, modern retreat on the charming island of Alameda. The space has been completely updated and is conveniently located near Alameda's Crown Beach, San Francisco, Oakland, restaurants and shopping.

Message for open house dates/ times.

The apartment is available starting 9/1. Trash, sewer, included, tenant responsible for electricity, gas, water

* The apartment is on the second floor of a classic Alameda Victorian home
* This unit shares walls with adjacent apartments below, behind and above, and in older buildings sound can travel. This may not be the best apartment for people who are sensitive to neighboring sounds.
* The original oak hardwood floors were recently refinished. We do ask that tenants use rugs in the main living areas and bedrooms to protect the floors and also for sound for the tenants below
* Apartment is rented *unfurnished*
* The apartment shares a small, fenced, private yard with the other units
* The apartment has been recently remodeled. The exterior was also painted recently
* There is working gas fireplace that is the heat source for the living room and kitchen
* Each bedroom has electric wall heaters
* The back bathroom has a beautiful claw-foot tub
* The bedroom with the circular light fixture has a glass-paned door that leads to the entry-way and folding doors that lead to the living room. The doors close well but they are folding doors and sound travels through them so some may feel there's less privacy in this bedroom
* One off-street parking spot is available for $30/ month. The car would need to be moved on trash pickup days

An app-operated laundry washer and dryer is available on-site. Please be aware of street sweeping days and times, these are posted and vary by side of street. Other tenants in the units may have pets.

Applications are accepted on a "First come, first serve basis". We support and comply with all local, state and federal Fair Housing laws and are an equal opportunity housing provider. Please note, several applications may be processed simultaneously and the first fully qualified applicant will be accepted.

12-months, all utilities including internet covered in $70/ month utility fee, no smoking allowed, dogs allowed with references and pet fee.

"There are lots of dogs in all of Alameda. That could be considered good or bad, depending on your dog. "
  • Trulia User
"One of the safest and most convenient places in the Bay Area. I don’t have children but there are lots of school aged children in the neighborhood. Many options for sports facilities and being active outdoors. "
  • Trulia User
"It’s a nice quiet neighborhood. Families outside, kids walking, riding bikes, water balloon fights and table tennis are regularly enjoyed. I moved here from the city - it’s definitely slower - shuts down early but a lovely place to call home - seemingly a lone star born from the idyllic American towns of yesteryear. "
  • Trulia User
"I see families walking their pets and going to parks. The side streets are usually blocked off for ‘safe streets’ but any main road will be busy with cars speeding by. "
  • Trulia User
"Best commute in and out of San Francisco. Community College. Developing more housing and community enhancements."
