"We are in the middle of a cluster of lakes that are connected. We can travel by water or over bridges to 3 small towns and restaurants in between. Water views and fun everywhere!"
  • Jesse
"We have neighborhood parties and get togethers. There are several community events throughout the year including several with the fire department. "
  • Bradmaenner
"My commute from the Navarre part of Orono ends up being a curvy drive along the lake to head into the cities. Generally there are no slow-downs, however, if there is a crash on 15 it can be quite a headache."
  • Bradmaenner
"The Navarre community in Orono has an interesting and long history with Lake Minnetonka. Navarre is actually an island due to the channels so you need to cross a bridge to get to it. It has shopping and restaurants close by that we love."
  • Aphton
"Love the people, and the school districts are top quality. The water is beautifu, the yards and homes in the areas"
  • Mstrobel
"Private neighborhood of just four acreage homes on cul-de-sac with pond. Close to the shops and restaurants of Wayzata and 20 minutes to downtown Minneapolis."
  • Susananway
"Gorgeous Casco Point! Historic, beautiful homes, a pleasure to live here when we did. Quiet, but kid friendly. If you are lucky enough to find a property on a large lot, your investment in it will pay off!"
  • mark j.
"Close enough to downtown Minneapolis, but still in the country. You wouldn't find too many better public school systems that Orono. People are friendly, lots of nature and the walking and biking trails are outstanding. You won't be disappointed living in Orono."
  • George C. J.
"No better place to live and raise a family. Convenience & necessity shopping and entertianment options all very close by. Catch glimpses of Lake Minnnetonka (it is across the street)"
