The living area and bedrooms are separated by the kitchen and a long hallway, perfect for work from home separation or distinct spaces for different interests. Directly across the street you will find Harry Thomas Rec Center, which includes a large outdoor pool with free access in the summer months for neighborhood residents. There is also a large park and children's playground next to the Rec Center. The neighborhood is close to several other parks as well, including Aletha Tanner and McMillan Parks, perfect for outdoor activities and hangouts. The Metropolitan Branch Trail (MBT) has multiple access points close by and takes you right to the Union Market neighborhood and NOMA Metro stop (Red Line). The MBT has expanded in recent years to include multiple breweries opening up along the trail including Lost Generation Brewery which is a few minutes walk from the apartment. Bouldering Project rock climbing gym is also less than a 10 minute walk away. You'll also find many delicious restaurants nearby including Red Hen, Aroi Thai, Pub and the People and Boundary Stone. For coffee lovers, you have Creative Grounds and Big Bear Cafe a short walk away. Grocery stores within walking distance include Trader Joes and Harris Teeter. The apartment is a short distance to downtown DC and I-395 if you need to get to Virginia or Maryland. $3300/month rent includes water. Tenant responsible for electric, internet, gas.
