Description

This unique and very large two bedroom and TWO FULL BATHS apartment is ground floor directly off of lobby of building in wooded setting with private fenced yard around patio. Perfect for having a dog in the city as you can let the dog outside to your own private yard. There is a STACKED WASHER AND DRYER inside the apartment. The living room is big enough for a pool table and a sectional sofa. We made the price per square foot the lowest in the neighborhood. The apartment has many windows (12) looking north, west and south toward an ivy covered retaining wall and courtyard, and is VERY QUIET. There is nobody living below or on three sides of the apartment as it is the entire wing of the building. Area of apartment is about 951 sq feet total with a sheltered covered deck and very private yard space making it ideal for having a dog. Yard could be fully enclosed with addition of one small barricade. It is "excellent" for someone with a dog being on ground floor and access to outside without going through lobby, and for roommates who want two separate bathrooms.

Kitchen is efficient and complete with dishwasher, range /oven, disposal, refrigerator, exterior venting range hood, and good cupboard space.

Finish is with natural wood trim and commercial cut pile carpet in gray. If you want a great deal on a lot of space in a neighborhood that is really convenient, garage parking , ability to walk or bike to everything you need including some of the city's best restaurants and an organic food co-op down the street then you should take a look at this. Ground floor deck is covered.

Building is a small 15 unit apartment building, built in the mid 90 s as a condominium though operated as an apartment building. Management works hard to keep rents well below market in the neighborhood. Very low turn-over with many residents in building for decades. We write one year leases which revert to month-to-month after one year.

Utility costs are divided by the occupants in the building with each occupant paying a $60 per month utility subsidy fee. This covers water, sewer, garbage, recycle, hazardous waste, and compost.

Bike storage in bike room is available and free. Parking a car in the secure underground garage is $90 per month, with "Flexible Use Vehicle" parking at building for those wishing to rent a vehicle when needed. The location is within a few blocks of buses to downtown, Capitol Hill, UW, Seattle U, and Eastside. Walk a few blocks to Madison Valley or to top of Capitol Hill, both offering much retail and healthy food options.

If you are willing to give up a view, and want a lot of space for your rent dollars, this could be perfect for you and someone else. No view but a great value. There are large multiple windows on three sides of apartment (filtered light especially good for plants) with blinds. Building has good water pressure, forced air electric heat and hot water, and a separate thermostat in every bedroom.

Two big full baths makes it great option for roommates and a quick bus to UW. You won t find a quiet two bedroom apartment with two full baths, with privacy, and with washer/dryer inside apartment very often, and few would be near this size anywhere else in the neighborhood. Add to it this amazing low price per square foot and it is worth considering.

Current occupants are there until end of October, so we must have 24 hours to show it. It will be available for occupancy in very early November. There is no application fee, and we love well mannered pets. Please call Richard at the number herein to schedule a showing or with questions for best response time.

One Year Lease - Occupants only pay for electricity and any cable services. Separate thermostat in each bedroom and living room.
