The Principal has run dozens of families out of the Pinellas County school system because of her punitive and cruel interpretations of allowing therapists to assist children inside the school. Many of these families, already struggling, are stressed and thirsty for any type of help for their children will not find it at Oakhurst Elementary. "Our neighbors do a block party for New Years Eve and put out candles down the whole street for Christmas. And our neighborhood also gives out a ton of candy for Halloween. Including some king size. They also have fireworks on 4th of July. "

"We live in gated community in Bayou Club. We love over neighborhood. People are walking dogs, jogging, we have even few benches to sit down. Kids can play on the common areas. The Halloween is amazing. It’s a place for all generations, kids mostly go to private schools and many to the gifted public. Some laddies organize the nights out and reading club, some people like to golf. And it’s close to I-275, International airport, many parks, beach, downtown St.Pete."
