As beautiful as my area is an hiw much I paid to live here beautiful neighbors. Sad ppl runing this school I wouldnt trust runing any thing with children especially with special needs . Replace the supernatendants board of education district 11 an the principal an higher ups in this school get real honest trustworthy ppl that litterally have a real caring heart for all our children an patience an great postive rein forcement with speecial need kids . I just feel there are so many good ppl that should take the place of unsafe ppl that use thier tirle an take advantage of it . 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is a beautiful place for children the staffs are very supportive they show interest in the children's wellbeing they also get involve in the children's active learning and get to know your children on a one on one level and i think this is just awesome. the school is like a second family to the children the surroundings and school grounds are generally safe school is never loud of rowdy my child feels safe here no bullies school is very clean and very well kept i honestly wish my child could stay here if they had a high school however they only go up to 8th grade. my child have improved tremendously academically since he started this school in September 2024.Parent Review7mo ago - Pelham Preparatory Academy

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe principal is lazy. He is not even there in the mornings. He treats people of color as second class citizens, and does not she women as equal. He claims that he knows the challenges of being a person of color because he is married to a Brazilian. The superintendent/district should look into it. Not to mention one of the Assistant principal dresses inappropriately with mini skirts and high heels. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe’ve had such a positive experience with this middle school and I truly cannot say enough about the level of care and commitment from the staff. The teachers are incredible. They are not just teaching, they really show up as partners to parents. They advocate for their students, communicate openly, and go above and beyond in ways that do not go unnoticed. It is clear they genuinely care about each child and want them to succeed.I also want to call out the SBO, who provides year round resources and events that uplift the students, support engagement, and really help build a strong sense of community.What stands out most is how much this school truly cares about its students.
