"Most homes here have good sized lots so owned dogs generally can get good exercise at home. It seems to be very pet friendly in these neighborhoods."
  • Xw8qchpb7h
"If your dogs bark the city will continue to harass you and leave threats on your door. Dogs are not allowed to use their nature in this neighborhood so be cautious if you move and you have an animal specially a dog."
  • Trulia User
"Lots of activities to do especially on the weekends at land park. You have the zoo, a small amphitheater, children sized amusement park. A fun 9 hole golf course is smack dab in the middle. The ponds occasionally get stocked with fish as well. ( do not eat them, Mercury )"
  • Trulia User
"Sacramento is getting scary. Especially living here. Lots of break ins. Lots of Crime. Have to have alarm"
  • Trulia User
"It’s a very quiet and diverse community. Coming from SF, we’ve only been here for almost a year and we love it!!!"
  • Trulia User
"I’ve been in the south land park/ pocket/ Hollywood park area my whole life and it’s a great place to live. Homelessness has gone up as it has everywhere unfortunately. The true land Parker’s can also be pretty stuck up , as in if you listen to the way they talk after 5 seconds you can practically name the street. Other than that it’s awesome. "
  • Dmjay65%40gmail.com
"Older homes with many mature trees. A lot of young people are moving to the area. Close to Sacramento’s largest park. "
  • Reyna L.
"I lived here for 60 years and I love it here it’s so peaceful and the neighbors are very nice. This neighborhood is very safe for our children there is no guns or people fighting outside. "
  • Valerie R. .
"Great access to public transportation with a bus stop around the corner; 10 mins. To Amtrak station and 15 minutes to the airport "
  • Nburbridge
"I've lived in the area for the last 7 years; and I recently bought a house last year in this area. Love it here!! The neighbors are great, the scenery is wonderful. I feel very fortunate to be able to live here. "
  • Jamie F.
"Have three kids and I feel it's fairly safe for them to play outside, ride bikes around the neighborhood. Some good schools are close by, lots of other kids to play with and many parks and rec activities relatively close"
  • Mrs CYF
"Family friendly neighborhood with many 2nd and 3rd generation families continuing to stay in the area. "
  • Mas1223
"Quiet neighborhood with beautiful trees and great neighbors. Close to stores Nd downtown entertainment. "
  • Michael W.
"my nieghborhood is quiet safe and location is great for downtown commute. The best place to live in Sacramento "
  • Lglaves32
"I,ve lived in the area since purchasing our home in 1971 and most of the original owners have died and then "flippers come in and do an open concept to the interiors. Way more street traffic now!"
  • Kdasmus
"People stay here forever then their kids come back and live here. Can’t beat proximity to everything, freeways, good restaurants, grocery stores, library, etc. Would not live in the County or suburbs where the Sacramento county sheriff has jurisdiction. We have police and fire response in 3-5 minutes, but, have no crime to speak of. Very safe and walkable. "
  • Dcwarch
"I’ve lived in this area for around 17 years. It is clean, quiet, and well-maintained. It is close to the freeways and shopping. "
