"Hillside has become such a negative place to live. I used to live in hillside for 27 years and I know what the town used to be like. I’m currently an employee for the town and I know the town a lot better than it’s residents. "
  • A.H.
"I've lived here for over 20 years, and it was great growing up here. It's culturally diverse and there a nice little parks. The schooling system is good. In the recent years, there has been more criminal activity committed by people from neighboring communities. It's sad to see, and with my growing family, I've decided to start looking elsewhere to raise my children. I don't want to stick around for Hillside's decline. Also, there needs to be more recreation for the youth. The teenagers have no place to have fun and socialize, and they loiter with no other place to go. As of right now, it's still a relatively safe place to live. I hope things start to turn around before it gets worst. "
  • Diana
"There is public transportation. There is also a bus for seniors. There is a train station one town over which is easy to access. "
  • Daryl L. Denson
"I've lived in Hillside for 4 years now. I find it a very friendly town. It is generally quiet. Parking is easy and the area is safe."
  • Sorina

  • Leslie C
"it is a nice community, mixture of young generation and the old school. very up coming and easy commute to city. "
  • A. Watson
" Nice friendly neighborhood for dogs There’s a few small dogs in my neighborhood...but there’s a few stray cats that spray that need to be caught and fixed the cat spraying smell is 🥴😷"
  • Leslie C.
"down to earth, with an amazing diverse culture and backgrounds. close enough to city to go daily, far enough to have some peace and quiet "
  • Rene W.
"The neighborhood is very safe you just have to be careful with your kids as the roads are very busy during rush hour. "
  • Samantha M.
"This town has progressed over the years , and continues to get better . Neighbors and nice and respectful everyone in my street is quiet and collective "
