"I’ve lived in this neighborhood for 34 years and privacy is the best feature. Still a great place to raise a family."
  • Juliafigueroa7
"Super pet friendly to all animals: Dogs, Horses, Peacocks, Chickens/Roosters…, but rural, so not many sidewalks."
  • Trulia User
"I don’t think there are any problems having dogs here because all dogs are safely secured inside the gates and houses."
  • Frankie G.
"The neighborhood has gotten safer and more quiet over the years. Hoping to see grocery stores open up nearby again. "
  • Frankie G.
"I’ve been here for over 20 years and it’s great. My commute from my home to Van Nuys is no more than 15-20 minutes. "
  • Rquin1591
"it is quiet, but most people here like it that way. most malls are 15-20 minutes away but it's pretty centered that you can go in any direction, Santa Clarita, Northridge, Burbank, Glendale, etc."

"There are no community events in our neighborhood that make it special. There is a community center nearby "
  • Julia A. F.
"I’m 30 years old and lived here my whole life; I walk, bike ride, and my friends do horseback riding. People are friendly and have family values. So great for raising kids here. Also a great equestrian life style. Churches, one gas station and one small grocery store, along with a self car wash and public library and multiple parks. A few schools; private and public. With easy access to the 210 freeway."
  • Queenl6
"dog owners would like to walk their dogs around its a nice neighborhood. i would recommend it to others. "
  • Letty G.
"Very safe and clean neighborhood. I love this neighborhood. Kids play outside. People say hello and walk their dogs outside. I love walking to the ranch cafe. The owner welcomes my dogs in the outdoor sitting area."
  • Maciascbl2002
"I have lived here for more than twenty years. It’s quiet and safe neighborhood. We are so close to mountains. I love to hike and enjoy the friendly neighbors."
  • Bonnie M. B.
"I am one of few of the original owners in this tract that was built by Lesney in 1964. It will be 50 years in December that I have resided in this home. It is a great place to live with necessary conveniences such as a convenience store only 1 mile away, to 5 miles away for the following: Recreation facilities are within walking distance. Hiking trails, horse trails within walking distance; a library, fishing and swimming all within 2 1/2 miles. Grocery stores and such about 4 1/2 miles away, with banking just a bit farther. In my own backyard, deer, bobcats, raccoon, skunk, coyotes and fox have frequented the area from time to time. One true ring-tailed cat was spotted, one mountain lion and one California Wolverine by more than one witness. Being in the foothills, critters do visit once in awhile such as tarantulas, snakes, scorpions, centipedes and such, but hardly problematic except for the gophers. They thrive.....even having said that, anybody would love to live here...no walk-bys, no through traffic resulting in very few solicitors who want to make the trek up the rear entrance driveway. But what is best is the view of the valley....gorgeous. My favorite. "
  • Christina
"Only 30 mins from dt LA and 15mins from Glendale, Burbank and Santa Clarita...very strategic!"
