7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageEvery single person working at BT, teachers and staff, are giving 110% effort, no question. This school has an EXTREMELY diverse population (racially, socioeconomically, ELL, culturally, etc), which, yes, is going to affect the test scores, as you'll see here. However, I would say that the skills my child is learning, both academically and socially, are as good as he would get in most public schools, and in some areas much greater.Parent Review7y ago15 Reviews - Ingraham High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI'd like to respond to some of the other reviews as an active student at Ingraham High School. Ingraham is one of the most academically sound and intense schools in the PSE as a result of their IB program. If the low AP enrollment scares you away then don't worry, it's because students are taking IB; which is significantly harder. Essentially all of the teachers are very well trained and have been working in their respective fields for many years. There are always some teachers you wont like but In my personal experience I've been very happy and formed a great connection with all of mine.To the other post saying "just do running start" don't be misguided. Running start is a great option for many students, but IB tends to prepare you a lot more for college readiness and looks a lot better on college applications. If you're trying to just get college credits and be able to drop a year or two of college then sure, do running start. But if you're trying to get into an academically rigorous and respected four year college, do IB. It's like comparing apples and oranges. They have all kinds of trade-school programs WITHIN the school, exceptional SEL opportunities and a full time social worker and many mental health staff, drug interventionists, therapists, and a fully anonymous doctor's clinic within the school for students. This is a place where I, and essentially ANY other student regardless of their academic incline will be taken care of for their future, whether it be in regards to job training, additional schooling, or securing post-highschool plans. I would strongly recommend sending your student to Ingraham for any student in the PSE area. Please, take my advice.TLDR; Ingraham is a very good school that spends a lot of time helping students with all kinds of things. 100% send your student there over any other SPS school.Student Review3mo ago10 Reviews - Robert Eagle Staff Middle School

"I can’t think of any uniqueness. It’s suburban. Has a decent amount of trees. A lot of round-about-things. "

"Broadview has friendly neighbors, great views, and a neighborhood you can safely walk your dog in. The neighborhood is convenient getting to Edmonds or Seattle and plenty of nearby grocery and other shopping stores. "

"There are more dogs than children in the neighborhood. Everyone enjoys the dogs. I walk my dog several times a day and have met more people since I adopted my dog. We have great neighbors. Everyone with dogs picks up their dogs poop. I rarely hear dogs barking in our neighborhood."

"The streets are wide and not full of cars. Long neighborhood walks with and without dogs are a daily activity for me and many others. Water views are spectacular. Easy access to Aurora and downtown. Aurora is close but not too close. I’ve seen more neighbors bike riding the north/south streets this summer than ever before."

"We've lived in Broadview for over 5 years now and really love it. Its a quiet area with many neighbors out walking family & pets. Some families in the area and quite a few older/retired folks. We are in our 30's, with a young kid and love the ability to go to parks, dinner/nightlife in surrounding areas. Being in the Amazon prime -now delivery area is a huge plus! It's approx an $8 uber to Greenwood and $10 to Ballad & Fremont for date nights. If you have kids, its about a nice walk to Carkeek Park and a 6 minute drive to Woodland Park Zoo. We go very often!"

"The Broadview neighborhood is an unknown gem in North Seattle. This pet friendly neighborhood provides great walkability, access to one of Seattle's most beautiful parks, Carkeek Park and decent bus transportation. Beautiful Sound and Mountain views, combined with extremely easy access to freeways and major routes, Broadview is a great "in-city suburb"."
