"There is a lot of traffic in and out with not many big yards for them. A lot of concrete and in the middle of downtown "
  • Jtcar33.5
"We drive 15 minutes into town. We have a general store about 5 minutes away. The other side of town is just 20 minutes from where we live. Drives to surrounding areas are 30 min to an hour away."
  • Trulia User
"How nasty is it. I guess by my family kinda being the only black family in the neighborhood I look at things differently on how they treat my family."
  • Dawncochran1704
"Wonderful, amazing, easy access to I-75; great neighbors, sidewalks, large 1 acre plus lots, residents keep the subdivision nice"
  • Trulia User
"The neighborhood don’t have a problem with dog owners. I am able to walk my dog without anyone saying anything about my animal. "
  • Faron Collins
"Lots of dog walkers in my neighborhood and half pickup their dogs poop but usually they poop in area where people don’t walk "
  • Janiefr9
"there are live music events at the pavilion area at the mall just a few blocks away during summer months . and there is a nice park in town with a lake for fishing and a pool and water park and golf course and baseball fields and soccer fields a playground and dog park and walking trails. they have some nice scheduled functions like July 4th fireworks etc. its just maybe 3 miles from my home"
  • Donald C. W.
"great but no buses for real anywhere taxis are slow getting to you need a car to make it work to commute to work"
  • Brandyblackburn5
"Everyone seems to have dogs and are always out walking them. Everyone is very friendly and respectful."
  • Janiefr9
"its pretty safe. im not scared outside at any hour. there are some nice parks in richmond well maintained and family oriented. there are a decent amount of stores and restaurants for the size town. having Eastern ky univ hear keeps things relatively vibrant. in the same county there us also berea college which is very artsy crafts with interesting festivals and local music. also 20 miles away in the next county is univ of ky and a larger town with lots of shopping and entertainment. an airport and Keeneland racetrack lots of beautiful horse farms and of course bourbon distilleries since bourbon is only distilled in ky with water filtered through limestone. Boonsboro state park is between Richmond and Lexington where Daniel Boone built the second fort and settlement (i think) in 1792 in Kentucky. there is a replica fort and demonstrations of what life was like. the kentucky River also runs beside it with a nice campground and water stuff boating and fishing. "
  • Dani M.

  • Jamie P.
"I work with a family here 2-3 times a week and it's a well maintained and friendly neighborhood. It's very hilly, and in a country setting. You can hear the highway traffic if you're outside, but it's plenty far enough away for safety. "
  • Genevachang
"its hard to tell how safe it really is. some areas look nice but they are right next to very shady looking neighborhoods."
  • Angelica C.
