8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageA wonderful school with a great principal and amazing teachers, administrators, and support staff. Cutting edge techniques for teaching and learning. Many interactive school projects, activities, and electives. The curriculum and field trips foster a wonderful learning experience for kids and are the building blocks to providing the kids with countless tools and experiences that they will remember for life. We could not ask for more in our community.Parent Review7y ago2 Reviews - Saint Helena High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagemy child went to SHHS for three years and was consistently bullied and nothing was done about it. you will not believe what the kids here get away with, especially if you are a kid with family $$$. my final straw was when a VERY inappropriate photo was passed around and said to be my kid. well it wasn't, and the administration did NOTHING to the kid who spread this photo all over the entire school and no apology to my child. they have an app to report bullying called STOPIT, however my child was a target for this app and student used it to hurt my child and our family MULTIPLE TIMES and again NOTHING was done. we felt our kids were unsafe at this school and nothing was done to support my special needs child from the extensive non stop bullying. kids here are cruel. giving it two points only because my childs special ed teacher was the only one who cared and supported my child. the only one.Parent Review9mo ago3 Reviews - Robert Louis Stevenson Intermediate School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI attended this school in the mid 1980s. This curriculum was way beyond any other schools I have since encountered. I took Anatomy & Physiology in the 6th grade! Architectural Drafting, Woodshop, Computer Lab and much, much more. The staff was excellent and the facilities were great. The student store had only Hansens Natural Soda, no high sugar stuff; but the "It's-It" truck would make its daily deliveries in the mornings (Yum). We even have an arboreal area with nature walk behind the school library. All within the beautiful town of St. Helena. What's not to love?Other Review2y ago3 Reviews - Saint Helena Primary School

"It’s close to a major hospital but still has a country feeling with trees and hills and meadows. It’s very warm in the summer though so you need good air conditioning. "

"My commute is along windy country roads surrounded by vineyards. Usually there are not all that many other cars. The speed limit is 55 mph but if you drive that speed other drivers will tailgate you. "

"Very narrow roads with no sidewalks that are dangerous to walk along but there is a dog park. It has sections for big dogs and for small dogs. "

"Not much public transportation. Better have a car. 25 minutes to Napa on a curvy country road. Pretty views of vineyards. "

"This is a special place. So beautiful and so well cared for. I think it takes a particular person to live here, and I think living here demands that you do your part, but that is a good thing."

"It’s a great location in the Valley to be able to launch in any direction and avoid the main throng of traffic. It’s like having a back-door pass to where ever you need to go. "

"There are many families with dogs in the neighborhood. If one gets out or dose a little roaming everyone keeps an eye on them and calls the owner is they’res an issue with their safety. "

"Pope street is like a freeway speeding cars that don’t care about the safety of pedestrians or dogs. No police around for speed control. Everyone lives in a bubble here. They don’t care about others, no heart in this town. Only shallow self absorbed individuals. Bad dog owners who let their dogs run free and don’t respect your need to keep your dogs separate. I walk my-dogs at 9 pm for peace and quiet. "

"Worst city I have lived in. No one talks to you or acknowledges your existence when you pass on the sidewalk. City is full of self absorbed shallow greedy people as a whole. There are a few good ones left in the bunch. "

"Horrible commute. Two roads only and too much traffic. County was poorly planned with roads and work force in mind. Thjs county is only for the wealthy and the soccer moms. Not for us who have to work. I travel to Sonoma County for real people and shopping. You cant afford to grocery shop in this town."

"There is a farmers market on Friday mornings during the summer that make the community feel incredibly welcoming. You truly get to see all of the locals, and the fruit and vegetables are legitimate farm to table. "
