Description

Nestled in St. Helena's Westside, this Contemporary marvel by architect Shay Zak strikes a balance between town and vineyard living. A serene courtyard, adorned with ancient olive trees, invites social gatherings or relaxation on the porch. Short distance from downtown yet close to vineyards, this 1500 sq ft home charms with vaulted ceilings, wooden floors, and outdoor access from every room. Glass doors connect the living and dining areas to the courtyard. The Viking-equipped kitchen with a marble island links to a covered courtyard. Two roomy ensuite bedrooms offer access to the lap pool. The outdoor oasis boasts a pizza oven, Weber Grill, TV, lounging spots, and citrus trees. The converted garage serves as a media room. Ideal for those seeking the Napa Valley lifestyle.

What Locals Say about Saint Helena

"It’s a great location in the Valley to be able to launch in any direction and avoid the main throng of traffic. It’s like having a back-door pass to where ever you need to go. "

"Pope street is like a freeway speeding cars that don’t care about the safety of pedestrians or dogs. No police around for speed control. Everyone lives in a bubble here. They don’t care about others, no heart in this town. Only shallow self absorbed individuals. Bad dog owners who let their dogs run free and don’t respect your need to keep your dogs separate. I walk my-dogs at 9 pm for peace and quiet. "

"Worst city I have lived in. No one talks to you or acknowledges your existence when you pass on the sidewalk. City is full of self absorbed shallow greedy people as a whole. There are a few good ones left in the bunch. "

"Horrible commute. Two roads only and too much traffic. County was poorly planned with roads and work force in mind. Thjs county is only for the wealthy and the soccer moms. Not for us who have to work. I travel to Sonoma County for real people and shopping. You cant afford to grocery shop in this town."

"There is a farmers market on Friday mornings during the summer that make the community feel incredibly welcoming. You truly get to see all of the locals, and the fruit and vegetables are legitimate farm to table. "
