7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI’ve been going to Tubman Elementary for about 9 years and I am now in eighth grade here the school has its ups and downs but one of the many things I’d like to address is the special education and bullying 1. special education the special education for students who don’t really understand the curriculum of a class they are in can sometimes be only helpful for students who ask for the help but like me i feel stupid and dumb to ask for help from teachers or my friends and nobody comes check up on me at all which i think we as a school can improve so students can feel safe asking for help.2. bullying/harassmentthis will not be in every classroom but we had a student in our class who thought it was funny to harass the women and sometimes the males there and the teachers did absolutely nothing but take them outside to sit and tell us to not defend ourselves at all which i think is absolutely insane but i do get it tahts it because we don’t get in trouble as well but i think they could definitely do more then take them outside to take and allow them to stay in the classes of students they’re harassing. that is all, sincerely, an eight grader.Student Review9mo ago - Lincoln Park High School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDon’t go to lp if you care about your education. There are some AMAZING teachers but only 1/6 of your teachers will be good. A lot of my time at school was not spent learning or doing anything. There is a lack of structure and nothing is enforced, which was technically a benefit, but also had bad effects. There are pros and cons and I have very mixed feelings about my experience at Lincoln park. I felt like I had a lot of freedom but the school itself feels so much like prison. Many many issues with schedules, the actual schedule itself is terrible because its the same 8 classes everyday. Ive had both 3rd and 7th period lunch and it was miserable having to be starving all day. It feels very self directed and you can do whatever you want. THERE ARE CONSTANTLY SCANDALS AND INCIDENTS. I find it comedic and entertaining at this point but there are so many things going on. Lincoln park IS a fun high school but only if you are social and have friends. Administration is really just lacking in so many areas. This school is A JOKEEE but I love it. Hate it tho. Idk. I wouldn’t want to go to lane or jones or anywhere else though!!!!!Other Review1y ago - Check out schools near 1132 W Wolfram St #2.

"I’ve lived here for 2 years total (1 year in 2019, and this year 2024). Areas fun but pretty expensive. Surprisingly a lot of great asian food but lacking a solid pizza spot. Over fine to live here, but wouldn’t be living hear if I wasn’t lucky enough to have scored a cheap apartment "
