About this House

Fully furnished, exceptionally appointed, historical home in a park like setting. I want a family who will treat it with respect as it has been in our family for many decades. I want people with good references who are clean and reliable. The home is 3 blocks from University, close to everything. Air conditioning, modern kitchen, large bedrooms (2) with a small bedroom as well. Hardwood floors, fireplace, sun room, library. This home was on the Reno home tour circuit.

Owner pays water, sewer, taxes, waste management. Renter pays electric gas and wi fi. Owner prefers to give renter detailed average of utilities, keep them in his name and simply give an all inclusive rent and adjust either down or up on semi annual basis. Owner provides landscaping maintenance including lawn and water. Will rent on minimum 6 month duration. There is a cottage also for rent within yard that rents separately. This is a large yard. Decks and bbq are also provided.

    "I see people walking dogs all the time, we’re right next to San Rafael park which has a huge dog park so this neighborhood is perfect for dog owners."

    "I've not heard of crime in the area. No burglaries that I'm aware of and no drug dealing on the side walk in front of my house. Biggest problem on Ralston Street is finding a parking place for visitors. Don't understand some of the postings regarding the neighborhood. It's an okay neighborhood close to downtown and the university."

    "I'm surprised by some of the comments. I've owned property in the area since 2004 and have never had a problem with burglaries or drug transactions. The major, continuous comments from tenants and neighbors is the parking on Ralston can be challenging. I still eat at the Port O Sub shop on the corner."
