Look at this a home in the Christian Hill area priced to sell. Newer windows, siding, retaining wall , sidewalk, extra wide driveway and off street parking for multiple cars. Original woodwork and doors, Hardwood floors main level. Original Grand staircase painted but has all hard wood underneath. Restored original brass lamps in some rooms. Dining room has 2 seperate entry french doors. All fireplaces inoperable, original Mantles in each room. Central air not working. The family has lived in home over 40 years (2nd gen). This is only a 2 family owned house since 1862.

    "This is a beautiful neighborhood with a lot of diversity. It has character and old fashion appeal. Large homes, duplex and apartments with its originality. The community has survived the worst although the love and spirit of the city is here. Perfectly located in the middle of everything, the smell of Fast Eddies Chicken or fried rice from the Hong Kong house decorates the air. I love it here, it’s safe with the beautiful mixture of people from all walks of life. Like with any city this area has its flaws, yet the flaws is what makes the beauty of it all!"
