Introducing the Whitney Building circa 1896. According to all historical records, the Whitney Building stood prominently as one of Covington's early businesses where retailers sold goods and services with prominent storefronts and residents lived with pride and ambition on the second and third floors. For decades, the Whitney Building served many business and housed many people only to succumb to an dilapidation.

Beginning in 1896, the Whitney was a "Plumbing" store and eventually in 1905, the Whitney was "John H. Brames Land Co." and finally ending its run as an infamous local bar and saloon. However, despite its many storefronts, the Whitney Building always maintained "Flats" on the 2nd and 3rd floors.

The apartment is priced for 1 person occupancy.

"Dogs are walked, both on sidewalks and alley ways. Done barking dogs in neighborhood and a few coyotes. "
  • Drew Woll
"Close to almost anything in the Cincinnati area. If commute is a top priority this is the cheapest location with the shortest commute. I work 30 mins up north in Springdale which is a 25 mile drive. In 30 mins I could probably make it down to Williamstown, KY. South of MLK Street can be a bit unsafe just fyi."
  • Reeds-fuzzier.0l
"Nice area, very quiet, packages are safe outside.. however not a very minority friendly area. I've lived here for years, neighbors only began to speak/ look me in the face once they seen I had gotten a puppy. "
  • Keli Simpson
