"short sweet and to the point close to all the highways and all the major businesses without the traffic of living in the city "
  • Chris R.
"It’s nice. And the town is well maintained, there are nice parks and places to walk. The people are friendly and seem good natured. On Thursday’s there is a market at the lakefront. There could be more restaurants but there are a few decent ones. Right now houses for sale are a little too expensive though."
  • Myra N.
"Quiet, clean ,great schools , lots of fun community events. upgrades are ongoing to the lake and downtown areas. I hear that some of the older structures will be removed and modern improvements will be forthcoming. True Americana ! Commutes are by personal auto and Uber or other commercial modes. With that said, transportation is identical throughout most of Lake and Porter Counties. Two of the older towns have a limited bus service within their municipalities."
  • Myra n.
"It’s a busy street ambulance route to nearby hospital and fire station. Elementary and private schools nearby"
  • Myra n.
"I went to elementary school around the block. Easy walk to the downtown and lake where fishing is available "
  • Brandon A.
"friendly.....convenient location nice place to live.... nice downtown.... shops close to I and highways"
