What Locals Say about Town Of Bethlehem

Review Highlights

Town of Bethlehem hums with easy living—walkable, dog‑friendly, parks, trails, and swift Albany access. People love the rail trail, safe walkable blocks, top schools, parks, and community events. They grumble about high taxes, traffic on 9W, few walkable eateries, and car‑reliant commutes.

"Is alright I guess. Everyone says it’s good. I know my old music teacher lives out here. It’s expensive, that’s what happens when you move out of the city like area "

"We have a holiday dinner each year and a pool party each summer. I’ve met every dog owner in the neighborhood in the 2 years I’ve lived here (and there are many) because everyone who walks their dog is ultra friendly. And this is all just in my small townhouse community."

"A great area to be - the best schools in the district, easy and quick access to downtown and the highways, and a hidden gem of a community. The walkability/bikability of Delmar is great - love watching our kids ride their bikes and/or walk to and from the elementary and middle schools. Great way to walk to the restaurants and shops around Four Corners without having to get in your car too!"

"It’s a good area for kids and the schools are amazing, but it’s not a very diverse area, I’m hoping that begins to change. The taxes are very high here and there’s lots of pot holes and very little construction. However there’s lots of fun activities if you know where to look "
