"I think it being an older veteran community with a small population creates a relatively safe and friendly neighborhood. "
  • Robert Mitchell
"Many people do not leash their dogs or pick up after them. As a responsible dog owner it irritates me to see off leash dogs that are not being picked up after. Neighbors often lets pets out to do their business when they do not have fences. "
  • Jimbean482

  • Megan V. W.

"We considered buying in this development. Learned (thankfully) before purchasing that the area several decades ago was a chemical dump for local steel mills nearby. Then we drove around surrounding area (Watervliet) and found that for this money there was a certain element of society we were trying to avoid. Recently purchased in Niskayuna and are much happier with our decision to pass on this development."

"A lot of Kids who go around stealing things left out side of any ones home. They Break in to cars. They cause problems ,The school is now closed. Nothing for any kids to do in that area. Back basketball courts our now gone. If your an older person they break your windows if they do not like you or just to give them something to do. They Litter on your property. Really it is not a family area any more. It is an area where you just live and if you need something to do go out side the limits of Maplewood.Quiet at times."
  • Gerald C.
"It's no wonder that this location is not more sought after especially with prices of gas skyrocketing and where many city budgets are in deficit, Watervliet is on track with a good Mayor. Close to Major shopping, highways, parks, recreation, schools. "
