What Locals Say about Point Place

Review Highlights

Point Place blends lakeside calm with small-town buzz, walkable parks, and quick, easy drives. People love the safe, friendly vibe, water access, parks, trails, and walkable errands. Bugs, some missing sidewalks, uneven schools, and a few rentals with upkeep issues.

"This is a safe area, with tons of this to do for kids. A lot of parks and a free library, plus tons of little shops to go into and visit "

"It's a really nice place to live. By the water. And it's quiet, there's wildlife all around. I live by the water and get to watch all of the boats ."

"We have parades and fire works. It's low key like a small town by itself here. If you had a job in the point you'd never have to leave"

"I see people walking their dogs all of the time and most are very friendly. The only issue I could see is some parts of the neighborhoods don’t have side walks and you must walk in the street or peoples yards."

"Good place, smells nice. The breeze from the lake, the only thing that sucks is the bugs. Neighbors seem nice, someone has a pig across the street that's dope."

"Just because we out here in a nice neighborhood with our children, where their safer on their own a little more; doesn’t give us an excuse to still not know what their up to and who they are hanging with. I’ve seen too many kids breaking rules/laws because of this. My ten year old refers to such parents (everywhere) as entitled parents. "
