Not condo people, we wanted a tropical outdoor space in a friendly neighborhood of single family homes. Hudson Bayou has safe streets. We're able to walk to necessities (hospital, medical offices, supermarket, schools, cafes, shopping)as well as diversions (parks, Bayfront, Marina Jack, downtown nightlife, library, cinema, music venues.) We know our neighbors and they know us."

    "Having lived in Sarasota all my life and knowing about the area since I can remember, it was a pleasure when my wife wanted to move off the beaches to this gem of a neighborhood. This area has real neighbors, ones you get to know and share your lives. A lot of Florida is disjointed from neighborhood living - Not West of Trail. The schools are great and its close to town, perfect to walk to the movies, many restaurants and if your a power walker for a workout over the Ringling Bridge and even on to St Armand's and back. "
