What Locals Say about Royersford

Review Highlights

Royersford blends small-town charm and convenience: family-friendly, river parks, quick 422 access. Loved for top schools, safety, parks and trails, local events, and easy access to shops. Drawbacks: car dependence, heavy 422/76 traffic, rising home prices, and occasional dog waste.

"The back roads we knew as children are extremely busy at am rush hour and pm rush hour!! The new homes under construction have displaced deer and other animals which are being forced into the more populated areas!! Its still a great place to grow up in, with very limited crime, Spring-Ford School district has always been considered top notch, as my mother was a teacher and neighbors tend to watch out for each other!! Very nice area to grow up in, although many of the new homes are extremely high priced, with little space in between alot of them!!"
  • Jeff K.

"Requires personal transportation and traveling on a congested highway. It often takes 45 minutes to drive 20 miles on 422 east and 76 east. Without traffic it can take half the time. "

"I am not a dog owner so I do not know what to say. I do see dogs being walked often and only hop that they are cleaning up after them. But I will say that there are dog friendly areas all around town. "
