What Locals Say about Cully

  • Perla Avila Guzman
"Not sure, I don’t own a dog but I do see dog owners sometimes not having leashes and it bothers me with letting my kids run around and them being free. "
  • Perla Avila Guzman
"I Haven’t had any issues with people who live on the streets and it’s very safe for my kids. The parks are well maintained and it looks very peaceful"
  • Trulia User
"the people are friendly and the restraints are all good and the church is great for food and resourses"
  • Grace C.
"Driving Wise, it takes around 20 minutes tops to get most anywhere in East Portland, Downtown Portland, or South Vancouver (outside of rush hour traffic at least). Alternatively, there are many bus routes going in each direction as well, starting from the early hours of the morning to late at night (after 12am). I commuted by bus for 3 years from this neighborhood, and I have always been really pleased with the variety of the routes and the frequency of their pick-ups."
  • Grace C.
"I live on the east side of Cully, on 42nd Avenue. It is very easy to catch buses going in each direction, and the Hollywood Max Station is only 10 minutes away. "
  • Ayla H.
"I see people walking their dogs all the time. Well behaved, on leash. They know how to keep their space & I have never had an issue. "
  • Nickole G.
"It’s nice but a lot of homeless activity and garbage on side streets. Also never leave your car unlocked and check your mail daily "
  • Spicensugar40
"Dogs and owners walk all day/night and are friendly. Nice sense of community. There are some transient/homeless that go through trashes and used to have a mail problem with theft. "

"It’s a great place for diversity of people! We haven’t lived here long but really love it. It seems to be the last neighborhood in portland that isn’t over run with condos. "
