What Locals Say about Roseway

Review Highlights

Roseway, Portland hums with easy living—walkable parks, family vibe, and quick airport access. Walkable, friendly, parks and dog areas, local eats, events, easy buses and airport access. Fireworks and dog waste, some crime and noise, I‑205 traffic, weak middle school, no nearby MAX.

"There’s a huge park block in the middle of the neighborhood. You can just walk out the front door and you’re already at 10 blocks of green grass and trees with bonus doggy bag stations at the end of each block."

"There’s a wide park block that goes right through the neighborhood and as a matter of fact I live on it. Every day there’s people running, walking their dogs or a lot of them are playing catch with their owners."

"This is a neighborhood with easy access to transportation and very good walkability. It's safe, close to restaurants and shopping. The Cameo Cafe is just up the street - best breakfasts in Portland! The houses are well kept, the lawns nice and the people friendly but not nosy. Good schools, the only downside is that parks are kind of lacking but then that is Portland on the Eastside - too little park land."

"Conveniently located between Rose City and Fremont neighborhoods, shopping, entertainment, and restaurants are a short walk away. Easy Trimet access provides a quick trip to downtown Portland and nearby Max stations. Just minutes away from Providence Portland Medical Center, the Portland Airport, Hollywood District, Lloyd Center and Cascade Station shopping and theatres; the center of opportunity, in a quiet neighborhood"
