    "Okatie is a well kept secret. People are catching on, though. We live in a beautiful home right on the marsh. We have deer, foxes, and raccoons in our yard every single day. At high tide, we see DOLPHINS strand feeding and they’re practically in our back yard. Our neighbors are well educated, friendly, and trustworthy. They’re helpful too. We have found our very own paradise here. "

    "I love Okatie. Wonderful neighbors, a string sense of community and lots of beautiful nature. We see lots of deer, racoons, armadillos and birds. There are dirt roads lined with live oaks draped in Spanish miss. Okatie is a lovey slice of nature between Beaufort and Bluffton."

    "Okatie has excellent schools, beautiful land, and trustworthy residents. We have peaceful and respectful people from all over the United States living in tiny Okatie. It’s a treat to have neighbors with experiences from all over the globe. I haven’t met anyone yet who seems pretentious either, even though they easily could be. I can’t say enough about little Okatie. I love it."

    " There are lots of kids live here and there are also lots of activities for them (organized and none organized). There are swimming pools, bike trails, a Nature ace tee and playground, as well as an equestrian center. It is also very sane here."

I have lived in some fabulous places (Bedford, NY; San Francisco; Vail, CO) and this is right up there as one of the most beautiful, pleasant places especially for people who enjoy the outdoors. In addition to golf, tennis, pools there is great kayaking, biking, wildlife in this community. Docks for boating and fishing. Great location close to Beaufort, Bluffton, Hilton Head, Savannah and Charleston."
