    "We enjoy living in this area immensely. The Village of Cross Creek is a hidden gem next to the Conodoguinet Creek with wide roads and low traffic for walkers and runners. Children love the woods and wildlife. It's close by to great shopping and historic districts downtown Carlisle and Mechanicsburg and right next to the Appalachian Trail. Carlisle has many things to offer including the Army War College and Barracks, Dickinson and Penn State law school, and annual Corvettes at Carlisle parade down the main street. Public schools balance academic rigor, good sense and attract talented teachers. Turnover in this neighborhood is low and infrequent."
