"Very close to the park systems and neighborhood is very much improved over the last few years. Sometimes there are unsupervised kids with dogs that get lose or dogs that run around. "

"I currently live in an apartment community, it is a very quiet, tight niche place where everyone know most neighbors in a first name basis. "

"Simple commute by car, walking or bike to work as only one mile to CMU campus. Traffic is never an issue from my neighborhood."
  • Garrettstein1978
"some neighbors keep to themselves and some are outgoing neighbors. we have multiple parks surrounding us. at least four within walking distance and about 4 a few miles away. their is a huge walking trail that connects most of the parks."
  • Linsey C.
"It's full of college kids and parties. It's diverse in nature because of the University. Honestly, there isn't a whole lot to do in the city and a lot of people travel outside of the city for things to do."
  • Queenvkingjbwmn
"I live just a ways down from the biggest park here, some organizations give BBQ,and have events going in the historic downtown part, it's small, smaller than what I'm used to growing up in Ann arbor and Detroit areas. But the crime is really low, every once in awhile something big will go down but the police forces here quickly, and I do mean quickly resolve them. Always keep in mind that central Michigan college isnt too far away, but far enough for quietness. I would live here forever if I can find an affordable home to rent,I'm sick of living in an apartment. I'd like a house."
