Types of apartment in Livermore, CA
Livermore apartments range from older low-rise buildings near Downtown and South Livermore to newer garden-style apartments in Springtown, Isabel, and the east side by Vasco Road. Near Downtown, you often see small apartment buildings, duplexes, and houses for rent with ranch and mid-century exteriors, simple wood siding, brick details, and small porches. In South Livermore, many rentals sit on quieter streets with stucco exteriors, tile roofs, and attached garages. Some older units have smaller closets and window AC, while newer apartments often have open kitchens and in-unit laundry.North Livermore and Springtown have many apartments in larger complexes with parking lots, shared courtyards, and two- or three-story layouts. Around Isabel and toward the east side, newer apartments often have stucco finishes, wider streets, and easier freeway access, but the setting can feel more spread out. Downtown has more walk-up apartments close to First Street, but parking can be tighter and floor plans can be less uniform. Houses for rent show up across the city, often as single-story ranch homes with fenced yards, and they can offer more storage than many apartments.
