    "This area is very desirable, a gated community whose homeowner's association supports many activities, including tennis, swimming, boating, fishing, horseback riding, golf, hiking, a motorhome campground, a quiet rural lifestyle, friendly people, and several nice restaurants both in Pine Mountain Lake itself and also in and near Groveland. It is an hour from Yosemite Valley, a half-hour from Greenwood Lodge and the Camp Mather area, and a half-hour from Sonora, slightly more to Columbia or Twain Harte. It is less than a half hour to Lake Don Pedro. There are also three beaches, a stables (where horses can be rented) and an airport, not to mention the tennis courts."
