"Lived in Farmville for over a year when I landed a job there. Never seen such friendly people, and such a beautiful area. It was peaceful. Almost as if it was out of a movie. The downtown shops have great items, and this city has everything you can need. This area is perfect for couples that are looking to retire, or people looking to start a family. If it werent for me having to move again, I would have stayed in Farmville forever. "
  • lorrainepohl
"I live close to Farmville, and I know this neighborhood, and this particular house is down the street from a private school and a golf course, there is a university as well as a private college close by so loads of opportunities for families with kids of all ages, and students from the university. This is the perfect area for people who want to turn over a property, because students pay more than what a mortgage would be for room and board at the university. Young couples and retirees have plenty to do as well. "
  • Navona H.
"Welcome to Farmville VA. We are home of Longwood University and Hamden-Sydney College. The main street is a sleepy main street working hard to become a Main Street America community. Enjoy local restaurants and shopping while visiting here. It is an amazing place to call home. This community will welcome you. Enjoy The Heart of Virginia Festival, First Fridays, Vriginia Grape Festival, Main Street parades and so much more. Our real estate is affordable and offers values that will amaze you. Call me today to give you a tour of town! I would love to show you why I love living and working here."
