What Locals Say about Cumberland

  • Ashley Van
"It’s rural country so it’s at least an easy 30-60 minute drive to hit up any actual main known stores "
  • Kathy Ann Watson Greenwood
"The place is nice but very rural the winters are hard and no street maintenance with power out for days. Okay if you grew up there otherwise not that great"
  • oh2va
"Live in the area and drive past it all the time! Beautiful and wel kept property."
  • Navona H.
"Move away from it all and enjoy the country living that Cumberland County has to offer. The county is nestled between Farmville and Richmond--which are great work locations, with good job opportunities. The county offers newer school facilities, local police service and volunteer fire department. Enjoy Cumberland State Park and proximity to Briery Lake and Sandy River Reservoir for all of your fishing needs. I love living and working in rural America. If you are considering a move to the country give me a call."
