What Locals Say about Islandview

  • Jennifer Dixon
    Islandview, Detroit
"I want people to start telling the truth about the neighborhood and stop lying most of the block is abandon and is unlivable for families. The house is not worth 40 the market is over priced."

  • Alexis
    Islandview, Detroit
"Islandview is charming area with great character and neighbors. The homes are lovely and well cared for. Easy access to Eastern Market (3 mins), Belle Isle (4 mins), Midtown (4 mins) and Downtown (10 mins) adds to the benefits of being here. Proximity to Mack Avenue and surrounding urban farms and churches all contribute to the area's charm."

"N/a, I work from home. Biking is easy to do around here though, and busses seem to come through frequently enough though I've never used one. "
