What Locals Say about Kleberg

  • Kenny M.
"I just moved here and live in a duplex in the neighborhood. The folks are nice, respectful, friendly and look out for each other. Surprisingly safe . I forgot my keys in the side door for a few days and no one took it or entered my home. This place is close to everything ☺️"

"There was a fire near my home in 2023. My neighbors came together to help me, and ALL of the ladies gathered around me while I cried."

"I have lived here for 12 years. No trick or treaters have ever came to my door. Commute is fairly easy. I-20, I-175, I-635 is near by. You can commute by car/truck. Walking and riding bicycles is pretty dangerous. There is a Boxing gym near by."

"I live in a rural area, it’s very quiet. The only bad thing is the neighborhood streets, they are very damaged"

"I don’t know don’t see any dog walkers. Only see dogs roaming by themselves . Don’t usually see many people walking or going by the house except during school season at the school crossings. Usually only cars go by daily"

"People ride horses on the street and once someone’s peacock was loose walking down the street. Was beautiful. "

"Although there are some rougher spots there are some awesome ones too! when passing through to a friends house located here I was taken back by the many hidden neighborhoods offering acreage, large treed lined streets, newer housing and many farm type properties just a few minutes from anywhere in the city. It was exciting to see people horseback ridding everywhere , ponds full of wildlife, cows grazing and small groups of children playing forgotten games like kickball and badminton. Who new that there was still areas of Dallas that offered wide open spaces and people that wave when you pass by, where cowboys really still tip their hats. I was thrilled to see a peacock spread his tail feathers, a flock of mallard ducks land on a pond, and no darn traffic piled up. We enjoy our visits out here every time we come to this area. Sitting on the back porch to watch the sun set with friends and quite surroundings is a great way to wind down from the work week, or to play on the go-carts in the back half of their acreage where you can just have some good old fashion fun. It's hard to leave and make the 15 minute drive back home to the northeast side of dallas. "
