"A pool, Neighborhood watch program, nice people. There are bike and walking lanes on the main road. There are two ponds to fish, picnic and play. There are many playgrounds in the area. It is close to schools, shopping, places of worship."
  • Sade B.
"The main roads are never backed up with traffic when I commute to work. Going over the bridge can be congested in the afternoon because of the base but once it clears it’s good to go."
  • John M.
"There are not a lot of community events advertised. You need to look up things to do around here for things to do. "
  • Bre_mac

"I line in a 50+ community in California since last year and I love it. Amenities and social events make life here nice and easy."
  • Marshall s.
"Nothing in particular makes my neighborhood unique. The traffic from Pax River base gets really bad but besides that it's a nice neighborhood. Then there's the matter of having family members in the immediate area that makes is bearable. "
  • Noduh0
"Close to every thing but still quite private Dog park and playgrounds for our neighborhood.. People watching out for each other.. "
  • chidalgo76
"Love the Wildewood community. Families are friendly, Evergreen ES is excellent and my daughter loves her school and schoolmates. There is little choice for restaurants and shopping and very little entertainment and nightlife, however this is a very family oriented area. 'St. Mary's Parks and Rec have many events, sports, and opportunities for children, adults and families."
  • weatherrail3
"The neighborhood is GREAT with older established homes from higher end on the water to lower end. the downside is most wiring is above ground, hilly and dimly lit with little to no sidewalks so if you get speeders or people not paying attention to families or walkers on streets their could be problems. Police live in neighborhood, crime not a huge problem as neighbors watch out for each other and stay a long time with little turn=over. "
  • shelly
"We have lived here in Wildewood for almost 5 years! It is very family friendly. Neighbors look out for each other. There are great bike/walking lanes. The pool complex is newly expanded with slide, fun novelty floating animals, 2 kid play pools and 2 lap sized pools with diving board. Staff are very friendly. The community center has free family activities at the lodge every month. The neighborhood is quiet and a great place to raise a family."
