Excellent school with home town feel. Monthly parent engagement activities that brings parents, teachers, and students together. Staff is very caring and involved with each child. They have after school tutoring and robotics programs for enrichment.

The school faculty and leadership is excellent. My experience over the years have been wonderful. Great atmosphere for my children to learn and be challenged.

I taught at Hite-Saunders from 1967 to 1969 and it is the highlight of my teaching career which ended in in 2007 on retirement in Mahopac, NY. I had wonderful children, outstanding fellow teachers and most important for the children --parents. I do miss Hite-Saunders.

Meadows Elementary has exceeded our expectations in so many ways, but what really stands out is how attentive and caring the staff is. From day one, we’ve felt that our child is seen, heard, and supported—not just academically, but as a whole person.The teachers are incredibly responsive and genuinely invested in each student’s growth. They take the time to understand individual learning styles and needs, and they communicate clearly and consistently with parents. We’ve had several moments where a teacher or staff member reached out just to check in or share something thoughtful, which means so much.Even the front office and support staff are warm, welcoming, and always willing to help. It feels like everyone is on the same team, working together to create a positive and nurturing environment.We feel incredibly lucky to be part of the Meadows Elementary community. If you're looking for a school where your child will be truly known and cared for, Meadows is that place.

my name is henry bailey (no relation) was my 4th grade teacher and mis bailey was the best teacher ever she helped me out a lot and kept encourageing me if it was not for her i would have not tryed so hard. i am so glad my son starts there next year and she is the prinsipal i onley she could be his teacher LOVE YOU MIS BAILEY

Amazing school. Class size is small but pay good attention to students.

Our son has attended this school since kindergarten. The quality of the school has declined in the past three years. The compensation and benefits of its teacher and staff are far below the public school system. Consequently, the best teachers and staff have departed, particularly at the high school level. So, teachers and staff have been reassigned from middle school to high school and replaced by individuals without teaching degrees or just out of college. Some teachers admit they don't know their subjects. Electives are abandoned mid-year. Discipline has been an issue due to the principal's reassignment from middle to high school. Due to the availability of new student vouchers, home-schooled students unprepared are now attending. Now, they've embarked on a doomed effort to establish middle and high school football teams abandoned in the 1940s. Finally, there is considerable discrimination against non-Catholic students whose tuition is higher and who are graded and treated inferior to Catholic students.
