I have 6 children at this school PreK-4th grade and we all love it!! All the teachers and principal counselor they are all wonderful people and truly care about their students!

I have bern very happy with this school. The Principal is wonderful and so are the staff. Very professional, but kind and understanding.

I attended EVCS from pre-k to graduation. Some of the teachers are wonderful and truly love the children. However, some do not, some do not honor Christ in their lives and their conduct outside of the classroom testifies to that. Some of the teachers have not even attended college and are teaching, very few, if any, of the teachers meet West Virginia state requirements to be in the classroom. A rank of 70th percentile for a small private school is not good, with the lower class sizes that should be a much higher percentile. The education level at the elementary years is higher than that of KCS, simply because most of the children do come from families that teach the children to read before they start school. However, the secondary level is not very strong educationally. I found college difficult initially and I did not feel fully prepared. EVCS has a rich hstory, however, I feel they have walked away from their own standards and don't even realize it. My family has spent many years supporting EVCS, it is very sad what the place has become.
